The following endpoints returning TX information are always setting the chainId field with 0x0:

  • eth_getTransactionByHash
  • eth_getBlockByNumber
  • eth_getBatchByNumber
  • eth_getTransactionByBlockNumberAndIndex
  • eth_getTransactionByBlockHashAndIndex
