From d59ba2850563e068b8ac1e9c43a3ae6b657f9a4f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Rafael Vuijk Date: Thu, 22 Oct 2026 13:22:33 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] The quickstart's Terminal and CLI from the library's releases From 2.6.0 the Terminal is released with the library, and its builds are assets of AngouriMath's releases: the download links pointed at the archived AngouriMathLab, and the CLI section at the 2022 standalone amcli in AngouriMathCLI. The Terminal section now downloads from the latest release and says the tool installs with dotnet tool install. The CLI section says amcli is the Terminal's, answering one command and exiting with the earlier tool's command names, with the three examples from the Terminal's readme, each run against the released code and printing what the page shows. The .deb installs amcli beside angourimath-terminal. Part of asc-community/AngouriMath#1689. + The standalone amcli is now the Terminal's: install the + AngouriMath Terminal, and with a command after it amcli answers + once and exits, without opening the terminal, so it can sit in a pipe or a script: +

+ The commands are eval, simp, fsimp, diff, + solve, sub, latex and info, with the earlier tool's + names and argument order, and amcli help says what each takes. amcli mcp + serves the library to an LLM agent over the Model Context Protocol.
