Describe the bug

When switching back and forth between empty files or between a file containing code and an empty file, the editor completely loses keyboard focus. Even if the cursor appears, typing on the virtual keyboard does not input any text into the editor.

To Reproduce

1. Open File A (with some code) and create an empty File B.
2. Switch to File A to view code, then switch back to File B.
3. Try to type anything on the keyboard.
4. The text does not appear in the editor.

Expected behavior

The editor should maintain or properly regain keyboard focus immediately when a tab is selected, allowing the user to type without issues.
