ContentForge scores draft copy before you publish it.
ContentForge gives your draft a clear 0 to 100 score, letter grade, and specific improvement tips before you post. The goal is simple: catch weak hooks, vague headlines, spammy phrasing, and missing structure while you are still editing.
How it works:
A floating score badge appears while you compose on supported social platforms. The badge updates as you type, shifting from weak to strong as the draft improves. You can inspect the score, grade, and top suggestions without leaving the page.
Popup scoring for any platform:
Click the extension icon to score content even on pages without badge injection. Select a platform, paste your draft, and get an instant breakdown. The popup is especially useful for headline testing, email subjects, YouTube titles, and quick draft comparisons.
Compare two drafts:
If you are choosing between two versions, paste both into the Compare tab. ContentForge shows which one scores higher and why.
AI Rewrite:
When a draft scores poorly, choose a tone and ask for a rewrite. The extension generates a stronger version and can insert it back into a supported composer. AI only runs when the user explicitly asks for it.
Deterministic scoring:
This is not an LLM guessing at a score. ContentForge uses deterministic rules tuned for each platform. The same input produces the same score every time, and the user can inspect the reasons behind the score.
Works offline:
If the API is cold or your connection drops, ContentForge falls back to local heuristics built into the extension. The user still gets a score, grade, and suggestions.
Privacy-first, no account needed:
No signup, login, or API key is required. Rewrite history is stored locally in the browser. The extension sends only the text the user chooses to score to the ContentForge API. No ad tracking or analytics are included.
