Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

ClipPulse respects your right to control your data. This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with your use of the ClipPulse service.

What Data Can Be Deleted

The following data can be deleted upon request:

  • Your connected account information and access tokens
  • Spreadsheets and reports generated by the Service
  • Drive folders and artifacts created by the Service
  • Any cached data or run history

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Self-Service Deletion

Delete ClipPulse Data from Google Drive:

  1. Open Google Drive
  2. Navigate to the ClipPulse folder
  3. Delete the folders and spreadsheets you wish to remove
  4. Empty your Google Drive trash to permanently delete the files

Revoke Instagram/Facebook Access:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings
  2. Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings
  3. Select Apps and Websites
  4. Find "ClipPulse" and click Remove
  5. Confirm the removal to revoke all access

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you prefer, you can request that we delete your data on your behalf. Please send an email with the following information:

  • Subject: "ClipPulse Data Deletion Request"
  • Your name and email address associated with the service
  • The Instagram username connected to ClipPulse
  • Description of the data you want deleted

Important: We will process your deletion request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Data Retention After Deletion

Once you delete your data or we process your deletion request:

  • Your connected account tokens will be immediately invalidated
  • Spreadsheets and Drive artifacts will be permanently removed
  • We do not retain backup copies of user-generated data

Third-Party Data

Please note that ClipPulse collects publicly available data from social media platforms. If you are a content creator whose public posts were collected through hashtag searches:

  • Your public post data may appear in reports generated by ClipPulse users
  • This data is obtained through official APIs in compliance with platform terms
  • To remove your content from public APIs, adjust your account privacy settings on the respective platform
