> This is the first portfolio for the course. The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate your ability to use R for data analysis and visualization, as well as your ability to communicate your findings effectively. Across the template, you will find a variety of code chunks and text that can be used as a starting point for your own work. You should replace the example code and text with your own work, and you should expand upon it as needed. The goal of this portfolio is to demonstrate your ability to use R for data analysis and visualization, as well as your ability to communicate your findings effectively. I also recommend you add in some personal information about yourself, your goals for the course, and any other information you think is relevant to include in your portfolio. This can help make your portfolio more personal and engaging for readers. (You should probably delete these instructions from your final portfolio, but I wanted to include them here to help you get started and provide some guidance on what to include in your portfolio.)
The projects should be numbered consecutively (i.e., in the order in which you began them), and should include for each project a description of the goal, the product (computer program, hand graph, computer graph, etc.), the data, and some interpretation. Reports must be reproducible and of high quality in terms of writing, grammar, presentation, etc.
The template for this portfolio is an R Markdown document. You can use this template to create your portfolio, and you can modify it as needed. The template includes some example code and text, which you should replace and expand upon with your own work.
