+TeSS is viewable by everyone, you do not need to register to search or browse for materials. If you want to register your materials, you can register with your email address and create a username of your choice.

+Steps to register for TeSS using your email address:

+1. Go to a TeSS instance, such as [ELIXIR TeSS](https://tess.elixir-europe.org/).
+2. In the top menu, click 'Log In', then click 'Register'.
+3. Enter the username you wish to create, your email address, and a new password. 
+4. Confirm you are not a robot, and agree to the privacy policy.
