BUG: getopt bin dependency portability issue

On Darwin (Mac OS Sequoia 15.6)
The script doesn't found getopt bin

After some research, the problem can be solved by changing the getopt path from /usr/local/bin/getopt to /usr/bin/getopt.

However, a deeper problem is that the implementation (at least in my situation) doesn't know how to handle long options, so the script is not very stable.

Also, it seems that to make it more portable, it would be a good idea to migrate from getopt (which is an external binary dependency that has multiple incompatible implementations on different systems).

This would require rewriting the code that parses the arguments. (I can offer to do this)

Just ran into this today too on macOS Sequoia 15.6.1

Easier solution I found is to do brew install gnu-getopt rather than edit the script.

After doing that I get

~> passage
Passage
/opt/homebrew/bin/passage: line 336: tree: command not found

So I also needed to brew install tree too, now everything seems good
