Coding Picker Public Release Checklist

Before First Public Push

  • Review the generated LICENSE, COMMERCIAL_LICENSE.md, and TRADEMARK.md
  • Confirm package.json no longer marks the repo as private
  • Review manifest.json display name and keep VibeCoding Assist or rename to Coding Picker
  • Run npm install
  • Run npm run test:e2e:install
  • Run npm run test:e2e:journey
  • Confirm no internal session handoff or process-review docs were copied in

Before Each Release

  • Re-run ./scripts/export-public-repos.sh from the private monorepo
  • Diff the exported folder before committing
  • Verify the popup flow still starts and stops correctly
  • Verify webhook failure fallback still preserves local storage
