Hello Laura and all (including Andriy, Lan and Bobby),
Do you know if the other data set files for IMAP will be provided using the same API as IALIRT? If so, we’ll need a different “since” for those. I’m guessing the only reason the IALIRT “since” works the way it does (based on the dates in the filenames), is that you are not planning on reprocessing those data files. But, for all other higher-level products, we would really like the “since” to work as Nick requested (based on file creation dates), otherwise we’ll have to constantly be making full lists (including file creation dates) of your holdings and comparing them with ours in order to know which files are new on your site. We cannot rely on file names and version numbers.
The other approach for getting your files would be for you to push any new files to us via an ftps push account on our machine. Then we wouldn’t need your API and you’d push files to us on whatever frequency you’d like.
Let us know -
Thanks,
Tami
