"Beautiful" is very subjective. This would be SO much more valuable if it was less opinionated visually.

I agree, we've not put much effort in visual flexibility.
Currently i don't know any other use cases then the one we're using so i don't have a good starting port on this.

Feel free to open a pull request with html/css changes that lead into your direction or submit a design/wireframe on what you would like to achieve, and we can take it into account when enhancing this.
