toolbar awkwardly placed relative to tutorial panel

In a medium sized layout the tutorial panel is toggle controlled.
On this layout the toolbar always leaves space for the yet to be opened tutorial panel, making it awkwardly placed in the middle.

on the wide layout the toolbar background slightly overlap with the tutorial panel.
(i have trouble replicating this specific issuse)

and on the ultra-wide layout it floats above it.

I believe that this is the last issue in the gnome app.
