Describe the bug
The channels endpoint intermittently returns a viewer_count of 1 for a stream that clearly has hundreds of concurrent viewers. It's not a single blip — the count repeatedly drops to ~1 and recovers within the same window (see screenshot), while the true count was ~650–700.
Note on reproducibility
Intermittent — the endpoint usually returns a correct count, so it can't be triggered on demand. Providing an observed window instead of steps.
