Thank you for your interest in contributing to the FixTweetBot project (“Project”), maintained by Kyrela (“Project Maintainer”).
By submitting a pull request or otherwise contributing code to the Project’s repository, you (“Contributor”) agree to the following terms:
- “Contribution” refers to any original work of authorship, including modifications or additions to existing files, that is intentionally submitted to the Project.
- “Project” refers to the FixTweetBot project, including all code and related assets hosted at https://github.com/Kyrela/FixTweetBot or elsewhere by the Project Maintainer.
By submitting a Contribution, you grant the Project Maintainer the following rights:
A perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contribution, in whole or in part, for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
A perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license under your patent rights to make, use, sell, offer for sale, import, and otherwise transfer your Contribution, but only to the extent that such patent rights are licensable by you and are necessarily infringed by your Contribution.
You agree that:
- Your Contributions may be distributed under the Project’s current license, or
- Re-licensed in the future by the Project Maintainer under any open source or source-available license.
You waive any requirement for further approval if the Project license changes in the future, as long as the license remains open source or source-available.
You agree not to contribute any code that is designed to violate or knowingly violates the terms of service or usage rules of any third-party platform or service (including but not limited to Twitter/X, TikTok, Reddit, etc.).
You represent and warrant that:
- You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses,
- Each Contribution is your original creation or that you have sufficient rights to submit it under this agreement,
- Your Contribution does not knowingly include any material governed by third-party intellectual property rights unless you have the legal right to do so.
The Project Maintainer is under no obligation to accept or use any Contribution.
This agreement is accepted when you explicitly confirm acceptance during the contribution process by commenting:
“I have read the CLA Document and I hereby sign the CLA”
on a GitHub pull request to the Project repository.
By commenting this statement, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Contributor License Agreement.
