Design discussion for Changed-Vanilla. [OPEN FOR COMMENT]

I had recently received permission from puppetmaster13u to use their vanilla mob transfur designs, which includes the following mobs:

List of 38 Minecraft mobs

This issue is to discuss whether these transfurs should be in the main mod, or be placed in an addon mod.

In my opinion, the main mod should only contain the official Changed content.

Keeping the "vanilla mobs" transfur as a splited mod would allow people to have a better "customization" for they modpacks.

If people just want the changed content they just download the changed mod.
If they want more challenge they download the "Vanilla Transfurs" mod.

I am willing to help with the extra mod.
I know minecraft deep enough to make the transfurs feel just like the mobs it self.
Like the spider having a change to spawn with a random mob effect on hard mode and etc.

And also would be away more easy to handle a own mod instead of a big single one. I mean for both repository and changed mod code

You know what, I think I've made up my mind already.

I'll provision a new mod for vanilla transfurs.

I should add a feature in the Changed mod to tie transfurs to their non-humanoid counterpart so that any mob can be assimilated, be given the latex drip render effect, and target transfurrable players.

I agree completely that an addon mod is probably best to prevent the main mod from getting too big to easily handle!

I mostly wanted to ask about a few vanilla mob transfurs that aren't on the planned list so far, since I was curious if they were accidentally overlooked or excluded on purpose?

The magma cube (fullbody here ), and the illager transfurs specifically since we have seen their illager designs!

Illagers haven't gotten a tf sequence yet, but the different illager types look uniform enough that a blanket "illager" latex transfur using puppetmaster13u's design that covers all the different illager types would probably work.

I was also wondering if some of the more unique variants are planned for the future, like the red fox cub, partial red fox (fullbodies for both here ), the cow taur and especially the cat taur?

I understand completely if they're not, since it would be a lot of dev work (I already understand why the other cat, frog and axolotl variants don't seem to be planned LOL, that's a lot of retextures!) but I wanted to check about these specifically since they're not retextures but full on unique variants.

Oh! Good to know! I wasn't sure if there was a technical reason or not, so I wanted to check just in case LOL

For easier future reference, I'll list the accidentally overlooked transfurs here, along with unique and variants that'd more or less just be retextures and wouldn't need unique models. I'll also add links to all the fullbody height charts that puppetmaster13u's posted so far!

I can compile all the designs that we can see a "completed" tf for too if that helps?

Missed Transfurs:
Magma Cube
Illager (Evoker) (Pillager) (These guys seem to have lion-like tufted tails, grey with black tufts! You can see it a bit on the Evoker, and even more clearly with the pillager with a ponytail in the second to last frame of the ravager gif.)

Unique Variants:
Red Fox Cub
Red Fox Partial Transfur
Snow Fox Cub (I'm 99% sure this a separate transfur from the anthro arctic fox one. It doesn't have the blue hair the anthro one does, and the proportions are closer to the red fox cub than the anthro one too. It's also on a height chart.)
Ragdoll Cat Taur
Cow Taur (Technically this design specifically is an MC earth cow, but this could work for a normal cow taur too!)
Gray Tabby Cub (Might also be the first fully quadrupedal transfur that stays fully quadrupedal even after growing up? The adult in the background definitely still looks quadrupedal.)

making a seperate addon is a good idea, so the main changed mod only has changed entities, and this one has vanilla mob themed entities
illagers would be unnecessary though, they're pretty human, similar to villagers
