Same error when I just tried to run it several times. This error is preceded by a hundred warnings, starting with:

I tried to use install dotnet 8 in the github action but it still uses 9. You can update the version of dotnet to 9.0.0 in the project for example: phuwin@7f4eae1. Not sure why github uses version 9 instead of 8 in the actions.

Answer is already here. You have to use dotnet version 9.

In my case, it worked by downgrading in Directory.Packages.props line 44 to

I have never worked with .Net but seems that there are some dependencies within that file as you need to upgrade all versions to 9.0.X or downgrade to 8.0.X.

This issue will be resolved in PR #421, which consolidates all pending dependency updates and fixes the .NET 9 package conflicts.
