GM Ebube, here's my plan:

• src/ingest/cex/types.ts: define a CexAdapter interface covering the common operations every exchange will need (fetch price, fetch order book, maybe symbol mapping), kept minimal enough that a real exchange's quirks don't force a redesign
• src/ingest/cex/mock.ts: a MockCexAdapter implementing the interface with deterministic fake data, useful for tests and local dev without hitting a real API
• Document the interface with comments explaining what each method should return and any error-handling expectations
• Tests covering the mock adapter against the interface contract
