To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1a. Using Safari on Mac, or on iOS in landscape mode, load the arcticdata.io homepage
2. Use Cmd-R to refresh the page

Expected behavior
The page should reload and display exactly the same.

Observed behavior
After the page reloads, the "Login" button shape is messed up, and the page background image positioning is off (most noticeable as a white bar and mountaintops behind the menu at the top of the screen)
