This document outlines the Enterprise Pack vision for the PAXECT ecosystem.
It clarifies which components are fully open source today and what may become part of future enterprise-grade extensions.
The open-source core will always remain free and licensed under Apache-2.0:
- PAXECT Core — deterministic runtime
- AEAD Hybrid Plugin — secure AEAD bridge
- Polyglot Plugin — cross-language data flow
- SelfTune Plugin — adaptive runtime control
- Link Plugin — relay and policy layer
- Demo Suite (00–12) and CI matrix
The Enterprise Pack introduces optional extensions for organizations requiring
operational support, integration tooling, or compliance automation.
The Enterprise Pack is designed to extend PAXECT — not replace it.
It focuses on the following areas:
- Advanced security integration (HSM / KMS / Vault)
- Extended policy and audit engine
- Monitoring connectors (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Kafka)
- Deployment assets (systemd units, Helm charts, Docker images)
- Compliance documentation (ISO / IEC / NIST mappings)
- Optional priority support through verified partners
- The PAXECT Core remains fully open source.
- The Enterprise Pack is proprietary to the project Owner.
- Verified partners or maintainers may co-develop or maintain enterprise extensions.
- No vendor lock-in: organizations can always use the Core independently.
At this stage:
- PAXECT does not sell or distribute enterprise packages.
- Volunteers and partners are welcome to collaborate on early testing or feature proposals.
- For integration discussions, use GitHub Discussions → Ideas.
Open Core. Verified Extensions. Zero Telemetry by Default.
The goal is to maintain a deterministic, private, and reproducible foundation
for both community users and enterprise environments.
