scale-audit is a static, read-only audit that finds what will break your Node.js/TypeScript app under load — N+1 queries, unbounded reads, missing DB indexes, missing timeouts, blocking I/O — before those things page you at 3am.

It runs as a CLI (npx @pradeeppilot/scale-audit <repo>) and as a GitHub Action that comments findings on your PRs.

Project status

Early but honest: v0.3.x, CLI + Action live on npm, every detector validated against real repos before shipping. Precision is the top priority — a false positive is treated as a bug. Findings carry a confidence level, and ambiguous cases are reported as low rather than asserted.

How you can help right now

1. Run it on a repo you know well:

   npx @pradeeppilot/scale-audit https://github.com/owner/repo --format md

2. Found a false positive? Open an issue with the snippet and why it's actually fine — the single most valuable feedback right now. 🙏
3. Missing your stack? Post in 💡 Ideas: which ORM (Prisma, Drizzle, TypeORM, Mongoose…) or framework (Express, Fastify, NestJS, Next.js) should get better coverage next?
4. Got a real finding worth sharing? Drop it in 🎉 Show and tell — anonymize as needed.

Be kind, be specific, redact proprietary code, and no drive-by marketing.

Static analysis only — scale-audit never executes the code it scans, and clones are deleted after analysis.
