When hitting a mob inside a block (usually spawned via a range spawn in the mob system), the mob will not move when any amount of knockback/velocity is applied.
Possible internal bug in Minestom, but a simple fix is to change the spawning code used on the raycast and move the mob spawn to the face of the targeted block.
