Back button appearance transition is very choppy

The way the back button appears and leaves the form is very choppy and unpleasant to watch. Very minor UI fix.

It turns out the unpleasant transition is linked heavily to #46. This will be fixed once we fix that.

Maybe we should just redesign the back button altogether.
