Description
Our project is an AI-powered Document Intelligence System built on SharePoint and Power Automate that automatically organizes, analyzes, and manages maritime compliance documents such as insurance policies and vessel certificates.
When a user uploads a document to the SharePoint library, the system automatically detects the document type, categorizes it into the correct register, and fills the metadata fields such as vessel name, policy type, policy number, and expiry date. This eliminates manual data entry and ensures consistent document management.
The system also includes automated compliance monitoring, where Power Automate flows send proactive email alerts when insurance or certificates are expiring within 30 days, within a week, or on the same day. Additionally, a Copilot Studio chatbot allows users to quickly search and retrieve documents and their details through natural language queries.
By combining AI automation, intelligent document categorization, compliance alerts, and conversational search, this solution improves operational efficiency, reduces manual work, and helps organizations maintain better compliance and visibility over critical documents.
