Update table schema

Hi,

I can't update my table changes.

I'm working with an import model on fabric and Authentication is 'Azure Active Directory - Universal with MFA'. I have access to the database and can work with it in Fabric and SSMS0.

When I want to update the table schema, i connect as usual:

I enter my login id
I enter my password
when I'm suppose to enter my mfa validation this appears:

The admin has not made any changes.

Last week i installed the new SSMS 22, and then I removed the older versions om my PC.

After that the issue started.

I have reinstalled Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server and ADOMD.NET / Analysis Services client - and shortly that worked last week. But now I'm back with the issue.

Can there be any issue when connection from TE3 to a fabric sql/lakehouse after SSMS has introduced the new "Connect to Database" method - Authentication here is 'Microsoft Entra MFA'?

On site where we don't need to enter MFA validation, it works fine

I'm able to refresh data from TE3.

Hi Jim
Could you try to experiment with the other authentication methods (integrated, username/password) as this can sometimes unblock the MFA authentication. Alternatively, could you try to install Tabular Editor 3.24.2 to see if the recent upgrade could be the issue.

The error message makes it sound like it is the Azure AD administration that has changed something. To my knowledge there has been no changes from one week to another.
