It keeps spamming the error and eventually crashes the server.

Does 'Latest' mean latest release (1.0.0) or latest beta? (this is why you always put the version number, even if you think it's obvious)

Also, you didn't tell me you were using Leaf. That changes things. Turning off asynchronous chunk loading may fix this for now.

@izaz18th Can you try the latest beta build from the builds directory? This might just be the error we had on Paper but looks a bit different because of the asynchronous loading.

If that doesn't work, try turning off asynchronous chunk loading.

Fixed the block update path so world reads happen on the main thread instead of the Netty thread.
