sync sql to blockchain

How to extract data from the node to sql if it's already synced to the network?
It would be nice to have some more info in the docs :)

--replay-blockchain clear chain state database and replay all blocks

but this will block the node from working for days potentially - to replay all data and keep up with the network again.
it would be nice to have some way to do it without blocking the node for a long time.
