Spring Boot 3.5 will reach end of community support (06/2026). Spring Boot 4 is the new major version of the Spring Boot framework.

Describe the ideal solution

As Spring Boot 3.5 gets a very extended Enterprise Support, the best solution, as Spring currently does, is to maintain two major versions of this library, one for each Spring major version.

Thanks for raising the issue. Spring Boot 4 support is on our radar. We're exploring our options and will update this issue as plans take shape.
