this is very confusing for people who don't know how to do any of this stuff!
like I'm currently confused and cannot get it done myself

I tried to put together a guide and posted it in the comment for the video:

1. Install git on you machine according to https://git-scm.com/downloads/win

2. Install Node.js from https://nodejs.org/en

3. Install pnpm as per https://pnpm.io/installation by doing "Invoke-WebRequest https://get.pnpm.io/install.ps1 -UseBasicParsing | Invoke-Expression" in you PowerShell. Restart shell after that.

4. Start PowerShell, go to a folder and run "git clone https://github.com/bufferhead-code/plain-sight.git". This will download the plain-sight repository to your PC and create plain-sight folder. Go into the folder by doing "cd plain-sight".

5. Run "pnpm install" and "pnpm build".

6. In you browser go to extensions page and enable developer mode.

7. Choose "Load Unpacked" and navigate to your "build\chrome-mv3-prod" folder in "plain-sight" folder and press "Select Folder". This will load you custom built plugin.

8. Ensure that plugin is enabled. It is now ready to be used.
