Been interested in the Async API but while installing and checking the code, we didn't find it implemented. Seems like it's still in progress/in the roadmap. Do you have any news on the expected release + priority of this feature?

@arca223 It hasn't been a priority since all the async runtimes seems to just use regular calls and handle the asynchronicity themselves. What are you planning on doing with the async api and are you using any frameworks/runtimes?
