Inspired by this helpdesk ticket. If a site accidentally pushes code that breaks their DAP implementation, there's nothing from our end to alert them to that fact. They could go in a month later to review their data and find that there is no data for the month.
GA4 supports alerting on anomalous traffic volumes at the property level, but not at the domain level. Since DAP's sub-properties generally receive traffic from multiple sites, these built in alerts are not granular enough to be useful to anyone but the DAP team itself. But I'm sure we could set up domain level monitoring in BigQuery.
We don't generally have a point-of-contact for each site that reports traffic to DAP, but we could set up an opt-in subscription service for drop-in-traffic alerts on specific domains.
