What Happened?
While investigated a file-roller related issue, the contracts related to that app and the app were deleted. When FileRoller was reinstalled with AppCenter the contracts were not restored. In order to reinstall both the app and the contracts the deb package org.gnome.FileRoller had to be installed from the terminal.
Steps to Reproduce
- Uninstall
org.gnome.FileRoller with apt
- Reinstall FileRoller with AppCenter - the contracts are not reinstalled
Expected Behavior
Not sure what to do about this (if anything) but it seemed unsatisfactory that apt install org.gnome.FileRoller and flatpak install org.gnome.FileRoller should unexpectedly give different results when the packages have the same name. May be the contract(s) should be supplied in a different more obviously described package/Flatpak so that a search for "file roller" in AppCenter shows both the app and the contracts and both can be installed from AppCenter.
OS Version
7.x (Horus)
Software Version
Latest release (I have run all updates)
