(I appreciate this is a 'would be nice' kind of thing, not really an issue as such)
I'm guessing this was done for good reasons, what with the docs etc being markdown, and markdown (.md) files seem to be read-only as far as the editor window is concerned.
I use markdown extensively for all my non-code files.... it would be really useful if we could actually edit non-system .md files in the code editor, (ie if they're in any subfolder below 'sources', for instance).
Unless of course, I'm somehow being an idiot, and there is a setting somewhere that I can't find!
