Create command name is too generic

react new <projectName> is not very specific, what if you had another generator for React apps?
emakina-react new <projectName> should be a bit better, what do you think?

I agree, there could be a conflict.

As the CLI command should be short as its main goal is to save you some time, I initially went with react as it is a good mix of a short command and a command with some meaning.

Do you have this kind of problem or do you know tools with the same global on the path?

If this really is an issue I would go for something like emr but to be honest I do not like those acronyms at all.

yiha.. lets start a discussion about naming... my suggestion would be crac or cra-c create react app cerebral since it is very explicit about what the user will get.. a slightly modified cra setup with codegens/scafolds for cerebral
if we would want to get external contributors, we should not add the company name here (its perfectly ok to be reflected in the repo name ofc)

I was just thinking about conflict potential in the long term, and my initial reaction to the current name was that.

Longer executable names (with args even) can be aliased in terminals, where you have to type. So I am not sure an acronym is really required. In any case, I understand the scepticism towards acronyms, and I think that crac stands out more or is more memorable.
