Feature request/regression: Return the ability to see the volume percentage without going into the native Settings app #1443

As titled. I skipped a few updates, so I don't know for sure when this regression happened, but in past versions from e.g. late 2025, the volume widget showed the exact volume percentage in the volume widget when adjusting the volume on e.g. the keyboard. Now it doesn't, not even when adjusting the volume with the mouse in the widget. Seemingly the only way to see the exact volume percentage is to go to the Settings app.

Due to the specific volume of my headset, I balance all my system audio around a 30% volume level. For some software, e.g. games, where master volume 100% is still too quiet, I raise the system volume to e.g. 40%. Right now, it is not possible for me to tell at a glance whether I'm correct when adjusting the volume from the keyboard or the widget, without manually counting increments on my volume wheel on my keyboard. It does in fact matter if it's 38% or 40% for some sound effects to not sound off.

Pardon the simile, but having to count volume ticks on my keyboard's volume roller to determine what percentage I am at feels distinctly like a Soviet Union solution. I would appreciate if I was able to see the volume percentage again when adjusting volume without having to either manually count the ticks on the roller, or open a separate app to see it - especially considering it was possible in prior versions.
