Use TinyMCE v3.4.5?

Great plugin, @artfuldodger! Most of the other TinyMCE equation editors I've seen use a server-side component to generate image. I like your approach of client-side rendering.

I would really like to add this plugin to a @jivesoftware Jive 6 instance (https://www.jivesoftware.com/). However, it uses TinyMCE v3.4.5 (2011-09-06), and I see this repo includes TinyMCE v4.1.4 (2014-08-21).

Any tips on how to port this plugin to TinyMCE v3.4.5?

I am getting this error - "Failed to initialize plugin: equationeditor" while using it with Tinymce 5.
Any tips on how I can get rid of this error?
