lexicographic_sort_schema drops deprecation reason from input fields

The sort_input_fields function is dropping arguments. It needs to include a **merge_kwargs call like the sort_fields function does.

The result is that calling lexicographic_sort_schema drops information from the schema, including the deprecation reason.

Did you check with the latest version? I remember something that sounds like that has been fixed in the latest 3.2 and 3. releases.

I am using 3.2.8, which I think is the latest release?

Ok thank you @kathychurch . It was in fact the same problem, but the last fix was not complete, particularly it did not cover deprecation reason. Instead of adding that as well, I fixed it more properly now in 0dd2c5a by using the merge function as you suggested, and added some regression tests. Also back-ported it to the 3.2 branch. Fix will be available with the next patch releases of 3.2 and 3.3.
