## Third-Party Acknowledgments
malt uses or interacts with the following projects:
### SQLite (vendored)
- License: Public Domain
- https://sqlite.org/copyright.html
- The SQLite amalgamation (sqlite3.c, sqlite3.h) is compiled into the malt
binary. SQLite is in the public domain and has no license restrictions.
### Zig Standard Library
- License: MIT
- https://github.com/ziglang/zig/blob/master/LICENSE
- Portions of the Zig standard library are statically linked into the binary.
### Homebrew
- License: BSD-2-Clause
- https://github.com/Homebrew/brew/blob/master/LICENSE.txt
- malt is a client for Homebrew's package infrastructure. It queries the
public Homebrew Formulae API (formulae.brew.sh) and downloads pre-built
bottles from the GitHub Container Registry (ghcr.io). No Homebrew source
code is included in malt.
### Homebrew-core
- License: BSD-2-Clause
- https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/blob/master/LICENSE.txt
- Formula metadata is consumed via the public API. Formula source files
(`.rb`) may be fetched at runtime from the public GitHub repository when
a local tap clone is not available, for the sole purpose of extracting
and executing the user-facing `post_install` block on behalf of the user.
No formula definitions are bundled in the malt binary or distributed
with it.
