Would like to see integration of gh stacks feature in lazy git.

The alternative is the cli. Thats ok, this feature will be cool.

I know its not native git, but I think the majority are using gh so it will effect most people.

Strong +1 for this. I’ve been experimenting with integrating gh stack through lazygit’s custom command menus and put together a working configuration: https://gist.github.com/itdhsc/b13f9c223ca235b5281b4ed2e05bc36c

It provides a nested gh stack menu for initializing and viewing stacks, adding and navigating layers, syncing, rebasing, submitting, modifying, and unstacking. This works surprisingly well as an interim solution. Perhaps the config can serve as inspiration or as a stopgap for other users.

The gist contains a customCommands configuration for lazygit. Copy it into your lazygit config.yml, and press # to open the gh stack menu. If you already have a customCommands section, merge the entries instead of creating a second one.

Default config locations:

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/lazygit/config.yml
• Linux: ~/.config/lazygit/config.yml
• Windows: %APPDATA%\lazygit\config.yml
