Description

If there are two notebooks in a folder, one named "A B.ipynb" and the other "A%20B.ipynb", clicking on "A%20B.ipynb" opens "A B.ipynb"

Reproduce

  1. Create a notebook and rename it as "A B.ipynb"
  2. Close the notebook
  3. Create another notebook and rename it as "A%20B.ipynb"
  4. Close the notebook
  5. Open "A%20B.ipynb" using the Jupyter's web interface

Expected behavior

The notebook "A%20B.ipynb" should open, while "A B.ipynb" will be actually opened.

  • Operating System and version: Linux Mint 22.3 - Cinnamon 64-bit
  • Browser and version: Firefox 147.0.2 (64-bit)
  • Jupyter Notebook version: Version: 7.2.2
