Consider moving to operator new with `std::align_val_t alignment` parameter

This way we can follow the alignment of the coro allocation. I was told by @DolphinGui that alignment with the coroutine frame seems to not work with GCC and this might be due to the default allocator not observing or respecting the alignment parameter.
