2.8.41 aborted connections number (fake) increase while testing the pass lsit

2.8.41 when is testing the list with the 620 passwords, these 620 tries are added at the number of aborted connections
of result.

Latest good i used was 2.8.38, is there any way to download it?

Explanation of the Issue
The "fake" increase in aborted connections is caused by MySQLTuner's security audit password check on MySQL 8.0+ / Percona Server:

PASSWORD() Function Removal: In MySQL 8.0+, the SQL PASSWORD() function was removed, and stored password hashes became salted and more complex (e.g., using caching_sha2_password or mysql_native_password).

Fallback Connection Attempts: Because it cannot perform simple SQL hash comparisons anymore, MySQLTuner falls back to executing connection attempts using the dictionary password list (up to 1,860 connection attempts including casing variants).

Aborted Connections Counter: Every failed login attempt is recorded by the MySQL server as an aborted connection, incrementing the global Aborted_connects status counter.

Impact: Subsequent executions of MySQLTuner or database monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus) report these failed tuner connection attempts as a spike in aborted connections.

Thank you so much again for great software.

2.8.42 seems ok but has another bug.
At all servers give errors about replica setup while none of these servers have replication enabled, all are stand alone.
I checked 5 with debian 13 and almalinux 9.7.

Here are the messages
✘ This replication replica is not running but seems to be configured.
✘ Parallel replication is disabled.
