DoubleCommand stops working on sleep/wake on Mavericks

The remapped keys no longer work when returning from sleep on OS X Mavericks. The configuration seems OK in DoubleCommand Preferences, and ActiveSettings shows the correct value, but the keys no longer work.

Workarounds include restarting the computer or reinstalling DoubleCommand.

At the moment, the quickest way to get it running again is to paste:

sudo /Library/StartupItems/DoubleCommand/DoubleCommand start

into the Terminal app.

I'm using El Capitain 10.11.4 and each time i start my laptop i have to reinstall in order to work.
The pref panel is still there, but when i click on it i get: DoubleCommand seems not to be running at the moment.

Will try to execute @mbaltaks command at login. Maybe this would work.
