The new Heltec 096 running mashcore v1.15 intermittently stops receiving signals at irregular intervals. Normal signal reception only resumes after a full restart of the device.

I'm also experiencing intermittent receive loss on my T096 running as a Bluetooth companion. Usually after around 15-30 minutes of correct reception. Sometimes transmitting will restore reception for another interval.

Are you near any cell towers or other sources of RF noise? You might need to add more shielding

You could try disabling LNA: #2140.

I have tested this and the current main 1.15 has broken rx chain and also the LNA amplifier is on but not connected. easy to tell as the noise floor is -114 and that's not possible with the LNA if everything routed correctly. You need to use Powersaving 15 that @IoTThinks has out. I'm testing 2 repeaters at very noisy sites and experiencing 3-4 db better receive improvement over the 4.3 V4.

You cannot use AGC reset on a nrf radio. same as the 4631. if you activate it, your rx will be very intermittent. I don't know why this is the case. i really dont. I've tested this for many months.

So, right now, T096 on PS15 works and you can control both FEM and sx1262 small boost. Routing is correct and all working fine.

color display draws 2mA even when it goes off. I've unplugged mine until that is fixed. This also removes the BLE antenna, so cant leave it this way. OTA is not working yet. tried via DFU app and fails.

right now with LNA on and boost on, with PS15 current draw is 15.2.......unplug display and drops to 13mA...... with LNA off drops to 7ma......

With GPS off, OLED off, T096 with PowerSaving is at 6.1mA now.

OLED standby leaks 2mA.
GPS off still leaks 0.6mA.

6.1mA is quite equivalent to RAK4631.
RAK4631 is 22dbm.
T096 is 28dbm.

We may optimize more.
However, boards with less than 10mA standby can already live confortably with 2W or even 1w panel (at sunny areas).
