Cant install "See through windows 1.08"

To whom it may concern.

I have downloaded the software. I got install the latest version of .net but when i try to run the install i get an error message saying that i need to install .net.

any idea on how i can solve this issue

You can install these older versions of the .NET Framework directly through Windows. On Windows 11 I found it in the Settings under Optional features -> More Windows features.

You should first visit https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/2.0 to download .NET SDK 2.0. Otherwise, you won’t see the .NET 2.0 option under More Windows features.

The lastest version of STW should not require .NET 2.0. Did you download from our web site, www.mobzystems.com? There are other links around to older versions...

I also downloaded the new version and got the same problem, I followed the link and it told me to install .net 8 so I did and it didn't change anything, resorting to the old reslease on github works though

Can confirm, downloading 1.0.8 and getting either (or both) .Net 8.0 or .Net 9.0 does not allow you to install the program. It still requires the very old .Net to proceed installing.
