FoxLoader modloader filter/tag #5737
Description
Please confirm the following.
- I checked the existing issues for duplicate feature requests
- I have checked that this feature request is not on our roadmap
What parts of Modrinth is your feature request related too?
Modrinth.com website
Is your suggested feature related to a problem? Please describe.
FoxLoader filter/tag would make it easier to browse, some mods are using Risugami's Modloader or Java Agent and I think FoxLoader has enough mods to benefit from a filter to differentiate from them. NilLoader has for it's few mods so it seemed fitting to offer just 1 more modloader tag/filter.
https://modrinth.com/discover/mods?q=Foxloader search showing all FoxLoader/ReIndev mods mentioning it
Unrelated but comparing to NilLoader https://modrinth.com/discover/mods?g=categories:nilloader how much it has tagged, if it had fewer I wouldn't have suggested it, but with it having more just seemed fitting.
I would have used screenshots but just used the URL/search results instead.
Or does FoxLoader not apply due to whatever it clarifies as? Which if so that's ok.
Or other factors, whatever may be the case.
Otherwise just a curiosity separate from this, is the launcher going to only support modern modloaders, no plans for legacy versions modloaders, not all just a few key ones? If so that's ok just curious. Or would I or others have to work out approval there of the other parties/modloaders?
I selected the link for the roadmap and nothing came up so where is the current roadmap so I can check with it?
Describe the solution you'd like
A filter/tag for FoxLoader for the few mods it has to make it more clear of support for them then typing in FoxLoader all the time or filtering via Risugami's Modloader.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Further separation of tags? But that wouldn't really solve anything.
Ignoring it if it seems fitting/aka not part of the plan/roadmap. But I think it would benefit from one like NilLoader or others featured on the website have shown.
Additional context
Nothing more to say at the moment.
