Yes - the problem is bad overall UX, so I have few enhancements prepared.

• Display the date of last edit #2838
• Merge the two different editors into a Samsung Notes–like one #2836
• Add app ecosystem bar to drawer header #2899

@AndyScherzinger cool! I'm currently working on Nextcloud Mail app, I made some fixes there and I hope to make the ckeditor be able to align images. I'd help with this app, as it seems to have a big potential, but I'm no phone app dev. My suggestion here - make the notes in the grid view have a height limit. It isn't hard (not in web development) and would make the app better. I can create an issue if you want.
