How to support your organisation in managing change when it comes to switching to git: training resources and approaches which can be taken

My thinkings:

• Explain the outcomes (better collaboration, risk reduction, better history tracker) before the features
• Define a common workflow (give a model to use, prepare one or two template repository)
  • How it is reflected on statistical programming activities (how to manage products, studies and milestones)
• Build trainings and especially workshops based on features for interactivity, to make people use git and explain why
  • Create and clone a repository (SSH...)
  • Open an issue (when using a platform - GitHub, BitBucket, etc)
  • Open and link a branch
  • Commit
  • Push
  • Pull request
  • Review
