In strict terms, this issue is no longer valid, since we removed support for “legacy” Tree-sitter grammars in 1.131.0.

I also think the spirit of the linked PR was addressed; there is more detail in scope names in the “modern” Tree-sitter Python grammar than there was in the old grammar.

I'm closing this one, but feel free to re-open if you think there's more to be done.
