The Insights API is the core of Qloo's platform, designed to deliver taste-driven recommendations, insights, and analysis across all supported data categories. By supplying the right combination of entities, tags, demographics, audiences, and location, you can tailor the results to your use case.
At its core, the API is parameter-driven. Your results depend entirely on the parameters you include. To help you design and test requests effectively, Qloo provides several resources:
- Insights API Deep Dive: Test your requests live and explore how parameter combinations shape results. The Deep Dive page is especially useful when you want to experiment with parameter behavior before implementation and see example requests and responses in real-time.
- Parameter Overview: Understand how to choose and format parameters for your request use case.
- Parameter Reference: Full definitions of all available parameters, including descriptions, types, and details.
- Entity Type Parameter Guide: See which parameters are supported for each
filter.type, including whether they are required or optional.
