Issue Description
I am attempting to use HackMate to build a bootable OpenCore USB for a Hackintosh project on my Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15IAU7 (Type 82QD). Despite multiple clean downloads of the latest v1.4.0 release from the official repository, the application UI consistently displays version 1.3.0 and triggers an update loop.
Furthermore, when I attempt to use the "Build EFI" option to create the installation media, the process reliably hangs at 10% progress and fails to proceed. I have already attempted technical workarounds, including manually formatting my USB drive to FAT32 (GPT) and running the tool with elevated Administrator privileges, but the failure persists. I have already attempted extensive troubleshooting to resolve this:
I have tried using two different USB sticks to rule out drive-specific issues.
I have used diskpart (CMD) to format both USB sticks as GPT/FAT32.
I have also attempted to prepare both drives using Rufus.
I am running the application with elevated Administrator privileges.
I am seeking assistance to resolve this version mismatch and the download hang so I can successfully proceed with the OpenCore configuration.
"I am fully aware that my hardware is not officially supported and that running macOS on this specific laptop is an experimental, non-standard project. Even so, I am very determined to get this configuration working. I have tried several other methods and tools to achieve this, but I am committed to making it work through HackMate. I truly appreciate any assistance you can provide to help me overcome these hurdles."
